Working-paper checks · An asset valuation firm (illustrative)

Turn scattered material into working papers that can be checked.

Illustrative experiment design, not a completed client project.

Real problem

A valuation team needs to reconcile engagement documents, asset lists, financial tables and previous working papers. The illustrative experiment focuses on completeness, consistent fields and traceable evidence. A qualified valuer selects anonymised samples and sets review criteria; the workflow does not produce autonomous valuation conclusions.

Experiment

A one-day Skill Workshop builds extraction, structured fields and source-linked comparisons. A two-day, one-night Hackathon connects them into an MVP. Complete, incomplete and contradictory samples test accuracy, evidence location and exception handling. Unsupported fields stay empty; unreadable scans go to a reviewer.

Stage outcomes

Proposed deliverables include the acceptance checklist, sample register, prototype, review log and unresolved issues. Compare processing time, omissions and rework on the same samples before deciding on a five-day BootCamp. This is an experiment design, with no completed client acceptance or measured improvement claimed.
